PowerMore has collaborated to supply and provide installation guidance for the current-limiting reactors and TRV capacitors at the voltage level of 245kV for the 500kV Hiep Hoa Substation
The project “Installation of Short Circuit Restriction Devices” is invested by EVNNPT, with NPTPMB acting on behalf of EVNNPT to manage the project. Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2) conducts surveys and establishes construction designs, while Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 1 (PECC1) reviews the construction designs.
The project is carried out within the existing boundaries of the 500kV Hiep Hoa Substation located in Dai Mao hamlet, Dai Thanh commune, Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province, and the 220kV Trang Bach Substation located in two communes: Yen Tho and Hoang Que, Dong Trieu town, Quang Ninh province.
Mr. Vo Luong Nhan, Deputy Director of NPTPMB, stated that once completed, the project will meet the demand for supplementary load in the Northern region, enhance the connectivity of the regional power grid, improve reliability, safety, and reduce losses for the transmission grid. It will also support the transmission system of the region, and enhance the safe and stable operation of the national power system.
